Best iPod sound system, under $100

Please recommend. Right now I am looking into the 2.1 iCraig tower sold through CVS store for about $80. It has four speakers and a woofer. Total RMS output 40watts. It sounded impressive in the store. Can anything improve upon it in this price range?

So it has to have a dock? I'd just get proper speakers, maybe used ones if the budget comes in the way, and plug it in. But if the dock is needed don't listen to me since I have not used them except one Bose system but I don't remember it's model name, it was pretty nice.

Yes, it has to have a dock. A complete system, just for ipod. No monster speakers or receiver necessary. Just something that will work best for the money.

I don't know man, what I just do is plug the ipod into a random wall socket and put a pair of $5 speakers next to it.
But again, that doesn't really help you either..
I just think that spending so much monies on those dock systems for ipods is not worth it.
My friend had a $300 Bose dock and it, well, broke.
And my $5 speakers, (after having the wires cut by my little brother) and me fixing them afterwards, still work perfectly.

Unless you're a total audiophile that can actually notice the difference, then you probably don't need something expensive.

I absolutely demand the best sound for the money, but this thing also needs to be reasonably movable around house. I don't want a $5 speaker because I know what they sound like. I know I won't go far on $100, but that 5 speaker iCraig tower with dock did sound pretty impressive. You won't mistake it with a $5 speaker.
