You most definitely can. I had a corsair ax750 and it ran two of my 5850 with no issues.

I see your psu also has 4 x 6+2-Pin as well.
You should be good to go.

I would say you can total system under load would be under 400 watts

I like a 30% buffer when sizing power suplies and that would put you at 520 watts

you plenty left in the kiity .....

So this also means I have enough overclocking headroom for both CPU and GPUs, right?

http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Cooler-Master-GX-750-W-Power-Supply-Review/917/10

I did a bit of research on the PSU and this article states in its conclusion that its only safe to use it up to 450W because of noise levels. Does this mean that i have a higher chance of damaging parts if i go above it? Is it safe to ignore this article? Have I been mislead by false advertisement by CM?

PSU's are confusing. frown.gif

No, it's not safe to ignore that article. Hardwaresecrets.com is one of few sites that know what they're talking about.
Two 5850s will only draw about 250-270W from the PSU in Furmark... the rest of your system could bring your total power draw to 450W if you were running LinX and FurMark at the same time... so don't do that. Ultimately I think you're OK, but I would make it a priority to get a better PSU.

But I strongly resent some of the comments above saying you're fine based on the sole fact that the sticker on your PSU says 750W and that it has enough PCIe connectors. Of course an AX750 can run this fine... the Cooler Master GX 750 is in a wholly different class of quality.

I would not suggest installing ANYTHING on a CoolerMaster GX.

It has some of the worst ripple of any PCU

it will work just fine. Coolermaster makes pretty good PSUs
