SARDU (short for Shardana Antivirus Rescue Disk Utility) is a free software application that can produce a CD / DVD or a USB device with multi-boot support.

The CD/DVD or USB device may include comprehensive collections of antivirus rescue cds, collections of utilities, popular distributions of Linux Live, and the best known Windows PE © and recovery disks.

SARDU does include a few utilities, but is primarily a tool for managing the software (ISO files) you download from other companies and developers.

I've been using Boot CDs for years, but after checking out SARDU a few times I was not much impressed with it, but after using the 2.0.1 version all I can say is WOW, they finally have the BOMB boot CD maker! Not only that, it builds USBs too! (fat 32 format required)

Basically this great program allows you to download multiple boot CD ISOs and put them all on one Boot DVD or USB, you may be able to fit a couple programs on one CD, but as you start loading more ISOs you will most likely need a DVD or a 4GB + USB Drive...

I will actually be using an 8GB drive for my final version, and have constructed a 4 GB DVD & 3.7 GB USB version of the boot disc. The hardest thing to do is probably build the UBCD For Windows, this requires a retail CD of Windows XP with Service Pack 2 & practice, you will most likely need to test this boot CD a few times before you get it right, and you need to update the virus software in the Plugins directory/folder. (Use Get Updates)

I can say without a doubt this software is the best solution I've found to date for fixing computers, though I still keep the boot CDs because many computers wont boot from a DVD or USB, being too old. Nevertheless, enjoy!

If anyone needs help just send me a message, I'd be more than willing to offer my professional help for free!
