X6 scaling

Thread Starter
I have a amd x6 1055T and wondering where the sweet spot for overclocking is where clocking it up more will not make that much of a difference. Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

Most dont OC past 4.0GHz without some real voltage, But the higher you can overclock will always make it perform better.

I would say 3.8ghz is the minimum speed you should settle with though, any lower and it would be a waste of it's overclocking potential.

You can even try seeing how high it can go on stock voltage, so you can be energy efficient. If you don't utilize all of the cores, you can even turn off 2 cores for decreased heat.

Edit: It's been way too long a night to type with grammar.
