It makes sense really, but I wouldn't really call it "travel". It is more like dynamically creating an alternate universe and just predicting what will happen. It is such a rare thing, thinking before you act. I am surprised they've even managed to remotely prove people think before they act. Gosh, mind blowing.

But yeah, deja vu is interesting. I wished I experienced it more often, so I can study the trend of my own sixth sense.

I love the study of how our dreams impact us. The fact that a person can create, re imagine, and foresee events is truly amazing! I used to have deja vu a lot when I was younger, but now I only seem to experience it occasionally.

Only if we could unlock the other 90% of our brain power...

What the article is proposing reminds me of a movie way back when.. "Somewhere in Time." Back when Christopher Reeves tried his hand and making a romance film...

Does this not seem circular to anyone?

1. Mental time travel is thinking about the past, present, and future and effects what people do.
2. People do mental time travel.
3. There is now evidence people do mental time travel.

That's how I see this article.

I was under the impression that this was already known. I remember reading some literature about this kind of stuff for my cognitive psych class a while ago.
