Maybe that's just me. :3
I must have worded it wrong since I was tired last night , all those FPS games are twitchy shooters but they all appeal to different crowds with different taste for gameplay.

Yet, year in and year out, Activision and other development studios get away with rolling out the EXACT same garbage with marginal gameplay advancement. The core that drives the player base here is watching the same mediocre rewards pop up every couple of matches.

There really is a massive dumbing down of society going on here. Gamers get fooled into thinking this cash cow series is anything but a new island get away for the venture capitalists.
haha, yeah.

Activision can literally take a crap in a brown paper bag and sell it as the next CoD and it will break sales records everywhere.

How else do they release such marvelous identical "sequels" year after year? Reminds me of the Saw movie series...

And, care to share what other posts "like that" you're referring to? I've never at all said it's "easy to do," though I can see why some of my other posts may lead you to feel that I'm saying I can do better. Ftr, I can't, and never claimed I can. Grabbing most of the net code from a previous COD is one thing. ADDING the extra features I mentioned in my last post is a totally separate project which is, no doubt, a task.
I notice from your signature you like to play lfd 2. Is that a graphically challenging evolution compared to lfd1?

Haven't played a COD since 4 and I don't remember the social aspect being anything more than hitting 'T' to type a message or hearing some obscure breathing coming over an unknown players microphone and I doubt it's changed. By these measures Valve should be overdosing on self-delusion right now.
COD is like Facebook in a way - everyone has it, it's nothing but trash talk and it's the down to earth friend you met 4 years ago who now acts like Tom Cruise and thinks he's become hot.
