The case itself is probably pretty expensive, and though the Lian Li's are great cases, you could save some cash buying a cheaper one.

What kind of "work" will it be used for? If you aren't going to be doing video editing and 3D rendering, you could probably save some cash going with a cheaper AMD X4, like an Athlon II X4. Or even a Phenom II X3.

Are you planning on overclocking the CPU? If not, you could probably use the stock CPU cooler.

Might want to get a different PSU, as Cooler Masters are kind of touch and go. Being a mid-grade PSU, you might be replacing it in the near future.

Seems like a pretty good build to me.

I Love the 955 BE mine runs stable up to 4ghz.

6870 is a pretty decent card, and works well if you ever decide to throw another in, you double performance.

Try getting better RAM, i.e. 1600Mhz minimum; in America it's available for the same or lower price.
Everything else looks great - I have that case, it's an excellent choice.

Looks like a pretty good system, solid and well-balanced. Just a couple things I'd do differently: Seems like there ought to be a way to fit an 890FX, or at least 890GX, chipset mobo into a $1500 build, and DDR3 1600 RAM. Or am I just confused by Singapore dollars? I haven't seen that particular Lian Li case, but I am a big fan of the CM Storm Scout.

PS: Ok, now I've seen that case. It's not bad, but I definitely like the Storm Scout better.

I got my K58W for $62 before tax in Newegg it's currently $70.99 for one I think. Then again, you are in Singapore.
I also highly recommend DDR3-1600 RAM.
