New build - CMOS checksum error + cpu and qpi voltages horribly wrong - Page 2

You said the video is intermittent works sometimes.When it doesn't work is the pc still booting into windows?Like can you hear the start up music even though there is no video,or is it failing to post and that is why no video?

checksum error isn't a big deal at all. yea that could very well be the problem, PSU chieftec 650 watt??? i will look it up, i don't think its helping any. Yes PSU can hurt your system

What is the EXACT model name of your PSU. It could be a delta unit which would be very good, but you might not have enough amperage per rail, as I think its a rebranded 550watt psu.

EDIT: video works, its just the system that's slow

I'm not using that PSU... I'm using a cheap 560W LC-Power green giant silent edition. look that up.

just flashed BIOS and it seems that cpu vcore is stuck at either 1.13125v or 1.216v and my idle temp is 50C!!eek.gif
*** is wrong with this?
EDIT: Also, the system is acting really slowly. It takes almost 10 secs to get from POST screen to BIOS.
