I did read some problems overclocking one fo the 1st batches, but I get the impression those times are over..I'm hoping for ~950..though 1Ghz would be nice

I would shoot for 900/1250 with the lowest possible voltage. Start with 1.25v and work your way down while it remains stable. You won't notice a big difference between 900 and 1000 with two 5850's. Better to have cooler temps, IMHO.

Wow. Definately found some great info. With the use of Saphire's Trixx software I am now able to adjust the voltage on my non-reference XFX HD 5850. WHoooooo whooooo!!

Running my voltage at 1.12 got my clocks up to 950/1200 with no artifacts after scanning with ATI Tool.

No, I wasn't the smartest when I got into custom watercooling.

Basically, while my computer was on I decided to adjust some tubes and spilled my coolant on my graphics card
