I will be using this only for the OS, Photoshop, 3D StudioMax, Autocad, and Microsoft Office. All working files & games will be on a 1tb hd for daily usage. I can buy the C300 64gb for $140 or the RevoDrive for $170. The mobo I will be using is compatible with the RevoDrive. I do not have any reservation to run multiple ssd's...all I want is something very fast & reliable. I've been very impressed with the reviews for both of these ssd's. Now, I'm just trying to make my final decision

Apparently there is no SATA 3, it's just a marketing term like 4g networks. It's really sata 6Gb/s. Anyway I'm looking up benchmarks for the drives to try and help you decide.

My vote is for the RevoDrive. I haven't been able to find many benchmarks for the other drive but the RevoDrive seems to perform pretty well among a lot of other SSDs. Here's a pretty good review.

I appreciate you checkin'...Here are (2) reviews that really had me thinkin' about the C300 at first...hexus.net review for C300 64gb and bit-tech.net review of C300 64gb. Apparently, you've seen what that RevoDrive can do...that little fella burns rubber I'm thinkin' for the extra $30 for the speed is probably worth it

The mobo I will be using is not SATA6 compatible which is not a concern to me.

Here and here are the only ways I've been able to compare the drives directly. They are both HD Tach benchmarks. Hope that helps for deciding between the two. The first site is the Crucial drive and the other is the OCZ drive.

If you do not mind explaining, what is your reason(s) for supporting your choices?

It should be mentioned that the Crucial RealSSD C300 64GB drive only achieves 75MB/sec write speeds even when using sata 3 making it a much slower than its 128gb and 256gb big brothers which can do 140mb/s, and 215mb/s respectively.
