Actually he can do a lot, if he can fix Games for Windows Live so it's not so much of a headache; get Microsoft to sign more Indy deals so that their Indy-Software development focus for the Xbox moves over to Windows as well for Cross Platform Promotions; a long with a handful of other thing, like natively building in a "Gaming Mode" button to Windows we could see a big surge in PC Gaming.
$2-5 Indy Games is where PC Gaming is at right now.
Triple A Titles sell well, but you'll always sell more Indy Games that cost at most $10 because they'll be the HD5770 of the time. Cheap, offer a lot to the end user, and very attractive (price wise) while Triple A's are turning more into the HD5970 or GTX 480; lots to offer but sometimes fall short on expectations and have slim profit margins.
