In return, Phyxion removed their logo from his software.

Things like Driver Sweeper and Driver Cleanerr have the potency to fu*k up your system. Which is why YOU USE THIS RARELY.

When updating (from 10.** to 11.** for example) Just install the new ones and that is it. Don't even uninstall the current drivers with the ATI Install Manager, just install the drivers over the current ones.

When rolling back you use the express install feature in the Programs/Features list to uninstall your current drivers. And then install the drivers.

WHEN YOU HAVE PROBLEMS (Blue Screens etc...) you use Driver Cleaner.....

EDIT: And also make sure you check mark both ATI Display and NVidia Display. And use Driver Sweeper for the sake of the world, Driver Cleaner Pro sucks ass....

This. Most computer problems are due to human error. By adding more needless and potentially volitle operations into the mix, you only increase the chance of user error. Save this for when its necessary.

But again: I've used Phyxion's Driver Sweeper easily over a hundred times and I have never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever had one problem. It was always perfectly smooth sailing.

So, either it's because of a difference between the way it handles NVIDIA drivers vs. the way it handles ATi drivers, or it's because of incorrect usage at one point or another.

Why select both? What if you've never had an NVIDIA card?

Whoops, fixed a little info from my other post. I meant to say that he was banned because he had included some adware in his software which Guru3D prohibits.

I never noticed it as I always downloaded the binaries instead of the installer.

That's a damn good tip.

It is worth repeating: it is not necessary to "install" Driver Sweeper.
