I second that...I so need a new case...this was good when I using 1 HDD and one lowest 4000 series card. Then I saw Eyefinity at Microcenter..and then I wanted it all. Except for this case...

Yeah I fell into a good deal on an Antec 1200 but even that isn't great. My next case is going to be the biggest one I can find.

This should be very informative for people who have smaller/or older cases and are planning to get the new 6970s.

The 6970s are huge. This is the first time I have seen a such a large video card. Previously I was using xfx 5770 (non-reference boards)...and they fit so nicely in the Antec 900 (I had no issue).

Now, little did I know - I got two 6970s in this Antec 900. I believe I have all high end equipment (mostly) except for the case....its pretty sad.

For people who are new/or getting this card...please factor your case size. It is crucial with this high-end card

As promised (I mentioned in my other posts)...here are the pics. And by the way, all the hard drive extensions had to extended out as I have 4x1TB HDDs...you will understand once you see the pics..

Laugh away...(If someone wants to a donate a case...has to be bigger than antec 900...I will gladly take it off your hands)...

Enjoy...

(At least I got the system up and working with Crossfire...these cards are awesome).

LOL you had to push the bays..

Get a bigger case dude.. so funny

You can afford 2 6970 but can't get a $100 full tower coolermaster 932 full case? They're a beaut and have tons of room + amazing air flow.

The irony is that...yeah I could afford 2x6970s...I didn't know they would be this big.

And, if I get a new case, should I just go for Sandy Bridge motherboard also, b/c my current mobo is 1156...or should I get a nice 1366 motherboard with cpu.

The Noctua Han touches the video card - I just don't like that.

just get a better case like a HAF X/FT02/600T/etc

you would get a boost in crossfire performance by going 1366, but honestly it's not worth it, your cpu is still good for a long time
