This pretty much confirms one suspicion i've held since the day the 580 came out: nv is cheating somehow on vantage with the 500 series. With both the 570, and the 580, these cards score way higher in terms of % improvement on this one test vs. Their predecessors than they do on any other test. Hopefully, one day we'll discover how they did it ![]() also, as i suspected would likely be the case ... The cfc perf difference on the 570 vs. The 470 is minimal. I think 10% was about the most improvement seen (outside of vantage), the majority of the time (esp. In actual games), it looks like we're hovering around a +3-5% improvement. As much as i love love low temps and noise ... No way i'm upgrading to 570's from my current cards. Bang-for-buck, if you aren't afraid of overclocking ...
