Just bought Black Ops

Title. Just got Black Ops for trading a hat on TF2. I haven't installed it yet but I am wondering how long it will take to download, after all my connection is like 1.5MBPS at the place I'm downloading and the game is 24GB...(4 and a half hours will be painful on Christmas Day)


I already own BFBC2, but I haven't tried it yet. Honestly it looks better than Black Ops for about 1/9th of the price(on sale)

Black ops, is well Call of Duty. Thats all you really need to know.

Just think of Call of Duty and you got Black Ops, nothing new......

It will take about I would say around a day or so dude. 1.5 Megs is little less than .2 of a megabyte so it will take a while....

Compressed and decompressed, it turns out to be only 8GB but you have to download all the compressed stuff.

Ok here is the scientific amount of time it will take.

You say the game is 24Gigs. which means that it is also 24,000 Megabytes. Like I said you download .2 of a megabyte a second. so that means every five seconds you are downloading a megabyte.

x 5

120,000 seconds to download this.

60 seconds equals a minute (if I believe.....) so....

120,000 divided by 60 equals= 2000 minutes to download this bi**h........

EDIT: This is of course if your download speed is consistent, and I SUCK AT MATH!
