i wasn't calling you a liar, i was simply providing a translation...

anyways, I just returned my 3 month old GTX 480 back to overstock.com for a refund of $507.99

I sold my Zotac GTX 480 last week on a local classifieds website, for 330$. I think 320-330$ is a fair price. My GTX 480 was a good clocker, it did 800/1600 @ 0.987v. The guy who bought it was going to SLI it, he bought another GTX 480 for 320$.

The GTX 480 is still a beast and perform just as good as a GTX 570, and a GTX 570 cost about 380$ (including taxes and shipping).

Misunderstandings happen. Glad you got such a good deal.

How did you get a refund on it if still works?

I purchased my GTX 480 on newegg....

I thought the 480 was great. I read it was supposed to run incredibly hot, but it was actually far cooler running than my GTX295. In fact, on the stock speeds the thing was idling about 30 C to 35 C. Of course, my Antec 900 case has about six fans in it.

I contacted their support, they set my refund reason to " I changed my mind" and even paid for my ups return label, great service.

I wonder if newegg would buy that....

....nope not eligible.

I got on sale. I won't be losing much money as long as I can get around $300 for it.

What is a good price for it?
Given that the GTX570 is a bit more powerful and cooler than the GTX 480 and it only costs $350, I suggest you price your GTX480 at $325. (That's still too much given that it's a used card, but it's reasonable maybe.)

It looks like I have a buyer on Craig's List. I'm actually going to sell it for $250, because I have a feeling that once the GTX590 is released (Q1 2011) that may be near the retail price and I figure I have a very small window until that occurs.

Hopefully, I will not be robbed at gunpoint.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
