Sure only Difference between that one and 1005 is new cpu support.. So it wont hurt anything..

I am useing 1005 Because the mb already supports my cpu lol.

Well, with the combo of tightening the water block and this BIOS update, Real Temp reports 46, 45, 46, 44. Is this where it should be or still high?

This is with stock settings. Now what do you suggest I use for settings to overclock? And can I even do so with the kind of RAM I have?

Not about the RAM, but seems that your cooling system will hold back any overclock at all. Run Prime95 or Intel Burn Test to see what kind of temps you have on load.
