Major Problem(s)? - Page 3

OK. If you want you can OC the RAM to 1600. Leave the timings and voltage where they're at. If it doesn't restart, go into BIOS and raise the timings from 9-9-9-24 to 9-10-9-24 and try that. If still no restart try, 9-10-9-27, if no good try, 10-10-9-24 or 27, and so on to 10-10-10-27 until you get it to restart, then stress test or game for at least a half hour. It will restart between 20min and 30mins if there's problems.

Could that actually be the cause of my problems though? Or is it just optional, if it's optional I'll go and do it later.

To raise the timings above 9-9-9-24 at 1600Mhz makes 1600Mhz not worth it anymore. You could try raising the voltage above 1.5V though. The Ripjaws are rated 1600 9-9-9-24 1.5V (not 1.45V) and should work at that settings unless defective or with a certain motherboard and/or C2 revision processor.

Your right. I read that wrong at 1.45v.

Yes, most defenatly. Test your rig out to make sure it's running right now with the old driver then OC later after your sure it's running good.

Alright, So I'm pretty sure I did everything you guys said. No cigar, it actually didn't turn off all of last night (I left it on to see if it would), but when I got home today I returned to the same problem. I dunno what my next course of action should be, any ideas?
