personally I went w/ a 6970 b/c if nvidia came out w/ a single card that can run 3 screens, then I would have gone green.

and I game w/ multiple screens, 570 is great no doubt

honestly, it really doesn't matter if you go green or red, the consumer wins in this scenario...pricing for both manufacturers are great for us and there is a gpu for practically any resolution that us the consumer have.

like I said, I went w/ red, b/c I game @ a high resolution, I don't really care for SLi or CF and I went w/ the card that can drive 3 monitors.

You can't lose w/ either...I will copy and paste this response for the next few months, as I'm sure there will be another thread tomorrow as well.

Well said - it all depends on each individual needs.

+1 - right now, it remains to be seen how far the 6970 will OC, AFAIK AMD pushed the clocks pretty high already, while the 570 is getting some nice overclocks, people are getting 900 MHZ quite easily.

Yea from what i see and read you probably wanna go for the 570. Maybe go for the 6970 if your gaming at resolutions at 2560.

Oh thought i post more 570 SLI and 6970 CrossFireX results:
http://techreport.com/articles.x/20126
Sorry, i like posting these up for people who are thinking about going multi-GPU for either the 570 or 6970. Again they trade blows here as well. Looks like the 6900 series are scaling pretty well to.

I'm still deciding on a card for my second build still lol!
