Fans for RX360? - Page 3

I'm curious. What kind of benefit do you really get by using high-speed fand on an RX360 rad? I set mine up with the three stock fans in pull and when I added three high-speed fans in push I noted only a 1-2c decrease in core temps under load. Hardly worth the noise.

Due to the low fin density, the RX360 is optimized for use with low speed fans. Thats no't to say it won't make a difference. I'm just not sure your water in/out delta will change substantially.

I have seen some comparisons with delta temp at different fan speeds and heat wattages, but not an actual test where someone ran low-speed fans and then high-speed fans and documented their idle and load CPU temps. Anyone have a link where someone tested this?

What it essentially does is only provide power to molex connectors so your fans and pump will run but no power will go to your board, CPU, gpu ext..... So if there is a leak you won't fry anything as long as it drys before you power it up.
I'm about to setup a rs240 and I think this idea of powering up the devices is smart, but I'm not familiar with using jumpers... is a jumper another connector that I would purchase separately?

I know where the green pin is on my psu 24pin but what do you mean by "Any black pin jumped to the green pin." ??

Yep you bend the paper clip so it does not touch and turn your psu or unplug and stick the paper clip in the green and black hole then you turn the psu on or plug it in and it will fire up just remmber to have somthing hooked up its not good to run a psu with no load.
