where can I find the Sata power connectors (inline) as well as the terminals for PSU's etc? I'd like to make my own length wires.

The best place to buy the right connectors and pins is MDPC-X, Nils is always willing to help. MDPC has the Sata connectors you want, and the pins for molex/24pin ATX cables.

The problem with making your own cables is you still have to use the plugs that match your psu (for modular PSU's), so basically you have to cut them off the old cable and start with that. Most PSU's have Proprietary connectors for the PSU which you cant buy, sometimes your better off buying extensions.

MDPC=X ROCKS for sleeve & shrink (I have two FULL packages under my feet right now ready to be used this X-Mas weekend) ... but for 3-. 4-, 6-, 4+2, 8-, 20+4, etc. plastic connectors & crimps (ATX, Molex, fans, etc.) there are MANY places here state-side that are cheaper than getting them from Munchen, Germany ...
