Thread Starter
What are the three top aircoolers under $40 bucks. I am guessing hyper 212 is one of them, please list 3 most popular! i want to buy one, but I want to buy one you guys use, for an article because I want to use aircooling and let you guys relate.

Detailed descriptions on why would be nice too. if its more than $40 bucks explain its benefits over those that are $40 bucks and less, as well temperature decrease per/$.

Support LGA1156

1.Hyper 212+
2. S1283 ?
3.? lol

All I know is the 212+ is probably the best bang for your buck cooler.

What cpu are you going to be running?

well.. there is the true, which needs lapping and I think that it doesn't come with a fan, so add a few more bucks...

there is the artic freeze 7 pro rev b, which is really quiet(completly silent), but doesn't cool very well, unless you install a decent fan on it... this one is meant for a stock system, not for any overclocker

and I would say the mugen 2, that would be the best bang for the buck, if you can find it under 40USD.

the only problem with the mugen is that it's really huge, and so people with it can have space problems, usually with tall ram dimms, like the OCZ reapers or corsair's dominators

well... and there is the dark knight

the mugen 2, the true and the DK are very close one benchmarks...
but the true wins, once very well lapped

mugen 2 I'm going to buy one myself

I am using a new processor, under NDA, but I need an Aircooler. Is the mugen 2 or hyper 212 better than this: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Zalman/CNPS-9500LED/ yes i wrote that review, like 5 years ago, but its the only aircooler i have for my CPU. Is it worth it to get the hyper212 or mugen 2 woudl there be much difference?
