I just signed on and checked. It's at the top of the list, as usual, using 47,724KB of memory...

I'm not sure exactly what your doing, but mine:
Perhaps your was downloading an update or something.
If you've got a bunch of friends/group invites stacked up, I recommend getting rid of them and see if that fixes anything.

-edit-

However to be fair, it did climb up to 10.140 while typing this, but its not going any higher then that.

Assuming you have 4GB of RAM, that is a huge 1.147% of your total RAM, so in the words of the Heavy: "Cry some more."

If you really want to be anal about RAM usage, delete Windows and download Damn Small Linux, with Firefox open (2 Tabs) the entire OS only took up 57MB of RAM.

That's incorrect. It's because the gaming industry got so big in the last years, there is no incentive to roll out quality and complex stuff. Games are made for the masses, with the dumbed down console audience leading the trend.

Take the movie "Avatar" for example. Movie has no essence, the plot/story (trashed by critics) is as vague as an empty glass, acting is subpar including the brilliant Sigourney Weaver. Yet it's the highest grossing movie of all time.

From the older games I still play Baldurs Gate 2 (with mods), probably around the 15th time. Dragon Age on the other hand, I couldn't even finish it once. It was that bad.

And yet gamers I talk to absolutely love dragon age. **** has always been produced, its up to you to get through it and find the good stuff. I didn't even see Avatar because it looked like crap. Meanwhile, I watched plenty of fantastic movies that went under the radar. Moon pops into mind first.

Stop nit picking only the popular examples. Even mainstream popular games today are FAR better than they were years ago.

I'm sure it's a great game for someone without any RPG experience. Any D&D player will laugh in your face when you say that tho.
