as the subject says, was looking for wrapping paper to wrap up my gifts for christmas and checked in a closet in the spare bedroom where its usually kept and boom there she is! main question, how is the cable management in the 922? (main reason i wanted a new case) any comments or pictures would be awesome!

Should've waited would have been better. But it will be much better then your case and you will be able to hide everything and make it look at neat, it is a pretty nice good size case.

I've gotta say, I bought a HAF 922 this summer for the same reason (cable management as well as space... was running a build out of an HP chassis). It's not a bad case but frankly if you want actual cable management you're best to go with a 932 or HAF X. I picked up the X and my cable management woes have disappeared. It's effortless to make your computer's insides look all nice and tidy. The best advice I can give to you with the HAF 922 would be this; figure out how to make those panty-hose fan filters and place them over all the grills. The HAF part means dust gets in just as easily as air gets out.

*Edit: When I get home from work I can post a few pictures I took after I "finished" my build back in August. I'm not a pro at cable management, so I did what I could.

yeah thats one thing i had read about was that there was no dust filters, unlike my 690, but thats a pretty simple fix, i will probably be painting the interior so while im working on that i can look into the filtering, very excited to take this guy apart and work on changing it up a bit

If I had the patience or expertise required to do a mod job on that case, I probably would have stuck with the 922. Making the interior a black finish instead of the plain metal will make it much nicer to look at.

I was thinking the same return it and get a 932, but if you don't want to insult your parents keep it. But if they don't care and you have the money I think it would be worth it more space and more room for other upgrades.

Does the HAF 922 fit a 10 incher or more? (Lulz how that sounds)

I'm pretty sure it doesn't...

Here is how i have my 922 cable management for reference. I like it. (The inside walls were painted black. A pretty easy DIY)
