Thread Starter
so i thought i got a $$ prob but i found out that i can work on the 26 des so i will make some money and maby i can work on the 31 des to

so from the 31th to sandy brige ant long so is it worth w8ing

and if i now cant afford a i5 760 , mobo , ram what will the chances be that i will get a better cpu with sandy brige for cheaper

the 1156+i5 760 is expencif

mobo= +- 1100zar
cpu = +- 1900 zar

now my amd i have in mind is

mobo = +- 500zar
cpu 955 x4 = +- 1400zar

so its a big dif for me

and i am in south africa so it will cost more here than in the us

1000 South African rands = 147.94700 U.S. dollars

sandy bridge is supposed to be at around the same price as socket 1156. so if you cant offord it now you cant offord it then

TBH, the AMD set-up will play games and so almost just as good [almost]

Dude - why do you abbreviate every word. It makes it insanely difficult to read (if not "difficult," "annoying" at the very least)

Our brains read words by the first and last characters and sparse letters in between, shortening the way a word is written only makes the person have to think harder and focus.

Although I cannot decipher your post I will say this. Over 1156 the 1155 will be better numerically, as in benchmarks, in the real world it won't really matter. If you are looking to save go AMD or wait until 1155 comes out and 1156 boards and cpus drop in price and grab those.

He said he was from South Africa. Perhaps English isn't his first language. Also, I had no trouble reading his post.

As for my advice, I would not wait. Get what you can get now and good luck with your build.

lol... don't wait? if your going to spend money on something, spend it on something worth spending it on?

in 1/2-3 month (intel / amd)..... in Jan 2011 and or Feb-March 2011, new architecture will be coming out, save your $xx.xx dollars a day -(living costs) of work... save for 1 month and buy the new technology that is coming out, at approximately the same price as you would spend now!

why spend more money than needed?

is it life or death that you have an "up-graded/side-graded" computer?

yes there is a line to draw, while "Waiting" for new tech to come out, but 1 month and or 2-3 months (new tech on both sides coming out).....yep def worth the wait, anyone who says otherwise would be a "Troll" or has money to burn/impatient/selfish/doesn't care about you/etc..
