AMD Fusion - Could someone explain it and it's actual implications, please?

AMD Fusion according to Wikipedia.

Alright.... my original impression long ago is that AMD Fusion was to fuse the CPU and GPU under the same roof (not eliminating the Graphics Card, but enhancing it). And that it could give way to live ray tracing, amplified graphics in games, etc.

What is the practical and realistic effects of this technology and will we likely see it with Bulldozer's first run of processors?

AMD Fusion is ocing CPU and GPU with one ocing program.

So it doesn't combine the two or marry the two units as suggested in the link and their website? I saw nothing about overclocking.
