I need advice .. Logitech z-5500 or edifier s550 ??!!...

Hello everyone

i am going to tell you about my story .. please reed " Carefully biggrin.gif " and tell me your advice

i living in somewhere on the earth .. and there is no Logitech z-5500 on my country
all the time i am dreaming about that system .. but you know .. dreams is not always enough frown.gif

last week i heard about agent having edifier S550
I heard a lot of good comments about that system

but i want to take a decision

in case of Z-5500 :
i will try my best to get if from the neatest agent from my country
maybe it will coasts me lots of money and time
because you know shipping is **** and not cheap when it comes to 21 kg biggrin.gif

so what do you think ?

Please note :

1 - i want to know the best bass machine ?? z-5500 or edifier S550
2 - what is louder and best sound quality ??
3 - most important .. i don't have Logitech agent in my country as i told
so i guess it will be high rest to take
i am talking about the " Control pod " common problem as you know

so what do you thing
please help me to take a decision

Compared to higher end speakers and subs the z-5500's are decent at best. In reality they are no where near the top of the line when it comes to speaker quality.

He's saying the Z5500 are crap...because they are. I've never heard the Edifier set but I can't imagine them being worse than the Logitechs.

the above is a joke tbh as all the subs tested are crap. It's like comparing what animal's urine tastes better. Honestly, what country are you in and what's your budget? Also, how big is the room you intend to put the speakers in?

I have Logitech Z-5500 and love them, they never get distorted and neighbors is always complaining about too much bass.

about the room i don't know exactly .. but let's say 3 x 5 m for example

i only care about " loud + bass + clear "

it doesn't mean they're any good when compared to other systems for the price. You might like them but what perspective do you have? i.e. experience with different speakers.
