Yeah the CM690 is a very nice looking case but I loved the look of the 600t as soon as I saw it announced and it has much more room inside and at the back for hiding cables. Sad to see the 690 going though as it was the case for my first proper build. Guess I better change my avi now!

I sort of agree with this, it's a real boring case (not saying it's not good looking) in comparison, you it would be like upgrading a 2008 model bmw 5 series to a 2010 model, only to trash the 08 one, in a way..

I don't know how good you are at modding, but fixing your "old" case would be a better option IMHO! white cases with plexi and carbonfibre = amazing

Don't get me wrong though! I love your case, it's really nice and all but I just don't think it was worth it, unless you have some kind of love for the case

Not sure about replacing the top fan with the two 120"s.
Didn't the top have white leds too? Weren't they visible from the top mess cover?

Other than that which isn't actually a big deal, it looks excellent mate!
Great looking desk too!

Enjoy it and merry xmas mate!

Haven't really had much time to test them at the moment. All I can say is CPU temps are 2-3c lower than in my 690 but im using Silent Eagle SE2000's on the heatsink and SE1000's as exhaust and top fans. Also, the GPU temps are around 5c lower.

Yes the top 200mm fan had white LED's but after reading reviews people have said the original Corasir fans are not very good so I decided to use the 2 x 120mm. Im thinking of getting a NZXT sleeved LED cable to go around the inside of the case for some more white lighting.

Thank you,a and Merry Xmas to you mate

I have a 800d for my intel machine, Corsair cases make cable management easy, but for cooling, its best to go water. i have a H50 hooked up to it as well, but Iv'e never been happy with the temps. My scout case doesn't have hot swap drives, but it its got better air flow.

Yep the cable management is so much easier in this case than it was with the CM690

Temps are fine but I am considering going water next year. I read a lot of reviews which mentioned poor airflow in this case but temps are lower than in they were with the 690 so im happy with that

Looks really smart. Nice attention to detail with the NZXT cable extensions to match the fans.
