Can Thermalright Silver Arrow fit in an Antec P183?

Does anyone know if SA can fit in P183?

With the exception of a CPU cooler, I got all the parts being shipped to me for building a quiet gaming rig (see signature). However everything is still in-transit.
I understand P183 isn't the best case for overclocking, but I was kind of handcuffed into it because of a great deal on CP-850 PSU. Plus I got the case really cheap, too.

I know the Noctua NH-D14 will fit in this case, but what about the Silver Arrow? I read on this thread (http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1567463) that the fans protrude out of the case. But reading official dimensions, the SA's fan and cooler has height of 160mm. This is the same as NH-D14... so technically SA should fit in P183. Can anyone help me confirm this?

According to this: http://forums.hexus.net/antec-care-h...ml#post1898559

The SA with a height of 160mm should fit with a few mm to spare. I think there's enough 160mm coolers fitting in it removing any doubt that SA also fits.

+1 Thanks! Just bought a SA from a fellow OCN user

Actually it seems to be 162.7 mm according to Thermalright's diagrams (kind of inconsistent of them to list it at 160mm yet draw it differently)

Would this still be alright?

Maybe the 160mm height comes from measuring it from a certain distance from the motherboard or 160mm doesn't take the tips of the heatpipes into account. Just guessing. Hope it fits without any problems.

A user from silentpcreview forums says he got his SA to fit in his P183, but closing the side panel was difficult and can slightly dent the panel... I'm frantically asking if you can see a protrusion from the outside! http://www.silentpcreview.com/forums...528788#p528788

EDIT: Another user on Guru3D installed the SA on a P180 (should have same exact dimensions as P183) with the side panel closing but without as much denting... or at least he didn't mention it: http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.ph...4&postcount=15

Most reviews list the Siver Arrow at 160mm in height.

I can tell you from measuring mine and a friends SA that it is NOT!

It is exactly 167mm in height.

Is that measurement from the base to the tip of the "caps"? Does adding the TY-140 fans make the total height even greater?

Would the same heatsink fit in a Cooler Master CM 692 advanced (aka CM 690 II Advanced)?
