Planning on buying a plasma

Thread Starter
hey guys , i have decided that i want a new TV for my basement.I needed a 50-55 inch TV and i dont want to pay more than 2000$ including the taxes, warranty,a TV stand ,maybe a PS3 and the Rockband 3 set. so i was concidering a plasma because they are cheap and they offer the best picture quality for my money. i need the TV do be from Future shop because i can pay it monthly for 24 months:D .I will go for a total of 2000$ so if what i want i too much i will remove the ps3 because i already have one. here where my 2 choices:
Samsung 50" 1080p Plasma: http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/samsung-samsung-50-1080p-plasma-hdtv-pn50c540-pn50c540/10143177.aspx?path=759de39225a15323e923bbf99594eb37en02
Panasonic 50" 1080p Plasma HDTV: http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/panasonic-panasonic-50-1080p-plasma-hdtv-tcp50u2-tcp50u2/10141512.aspx?path=60dd881ec68ef553b5170ce566b139a4en02

If you already have a PS3 I wouldnt buy one (unless you absolutely need another..for whatever reason that may be) and go with a better plasma. A 50 inch Panasonic VT25 if you want the best 50 inch TV you can get.

Samsung 50 inch C7000 plasma is and a little cheaper option as well

I purchased a European LG model in the USA for black Friday. It's the equivalent of the LG 50PK550

I absolutely love it

Here's the 550

Wish I hadn't picked up a 47" lcd on black friday, would much rather have had this tv... better put away the credit card before I get impulsive. :*(
