XSPC X2OPBAY Reservoir/pump

Thread Starter
Was just looking for a drive bay reservoirs and found this XSPC reservoir with pump included.

Has anybody used one of these?

Really I'm wondering how good that pump is. Obviously not going to be high performance, but how would it compare to say, a H50? (I'll be running the loop through a triple rad assuming I go with this pump).

the newer x20-750 is a lot better. I have one running my loop, which tbh, is a bit too much for it in the long run (im upgrading soon) but its doing fine. the 750 is included in the rasa kits. did you need a single bay reservoir?

The XSPC single bay reservoir/pump combo is quite bad, I wouldn't use it. The pump is simply too weak to be of any real use.

I'm not limited for drive space, cost is the main driving factor for me here.

At a performance of 750 lph however, the dual bay system does have almost 4 times the flowrate, which gives it a lot of application for future projects...

I mean it's overkill for sure, but Mmmmm. I also doubt I'll be able to get a pump & reservoir close to that performance for under £60

Thanks for your input guys!

x20-750 is suitable for a couple of blocks and couple of rads. nothing extreme, its head pressure is 1.8m and has good flow rate. If your planning to add multiple blocks or rads, then invest in a different pump w/ more pressure.

Trust me, it's overkill

It'll be cooling an Athlon 3500+ on a single loop.

I personally think the single bay pump combo would suffice, however, I'll hopefully be able to achieve a decent overclock with the larger pump.

The pump doesn't really affect your temperatures as long as you are getting 1+ GPM.

Essentially, the better pump could cool and overclocked 980X, or a 3500+. The crappy pump can't cool either effectively.

i would like to liquid my phenomII 720 and ati 5770...i do not have problem with 5,25 slots(5 available) so this combo would be nice ...

is this combo going to be good for my system ?? or should it be better to buy something else ??

i'm not interested in overclock, i just want less heat in my room and noise ... i'm not interested in the top, also because i don't want to spend that much, but i also don't want to make things bad ^^

thanks banaz
