Here's how you can set a custom fan profile:

First, click the "User Define" button. Then go into Settings.

Next, click on the tab labeled "Fan" and set your fan speed. I did mine as a linear curve starting up at 50C, because that's where my GPU idles. If I play an intense game, it can get loud, but it isn't too bad. Plus, as the GPU gets hotter, then fan goes faster to cool it down. I usually top out at 85C max during Furmark.

Click to set points, and drag to move.

Alternatively, just click "Auto" and set your fan where you want it so it always stays that speed.

85c isn't really that much, my 2 years old card(8600gts) was hitting 90's when gaming and it still run perfectly now in another comp.

Same my old 8600 gts hit 85ish, so OP yours is perfectly acceptable.

Yeah changing the setting of the fan didn't take effect. I changed it to 100% just to see, but it doesn't seem to be working. I also just googled around and it seems like particular model doesn't allow to change fan speeds. The fan only has two wires as opposed to having four wires. Blah i guess I'll just have to live with it. Thanks to everyone that helped.
