Need a good case for watercooling!

Thread Starter
OK I'm a bit tired of my tech bench right now and I need a classy case for watercooling.

Requirements:

Must be able to fit 2x 240mm rads somewhere
Must be black

Cases that I like/looked at:

Corsair 800d
Raven RV02b

^^ Can those both support the rads I need??

Please suggest cases for me

Hi.

Imma not sure about the cases you listed, but I am quite confident that with some modding that either one will accommodate your requirements.

One case that I know will serve your needs is the Silverstone TJ07.

Thanks but I'm not too fond of the TJ07, dislike the looks.

Fair enough.

How about the Lian Li PC-P80?

That case can readily fit 2 x 240 radiators.

As said the TJ07 will support a 480 in the bottom, but as you said you don't like the looks (), the 7/800D both support a 360 up top, which can be easily modded to support a 480.

Also, the cosmos S will take a 360 up top and a 240 in the bottom, even the CM690Ii can do this with the extra HD cages removed, although it'd be cramped.

i have both cases. the 800d is superb on watercooling.

raven2 is a good case, but it doesnt have a lot space. at the best you can mount a 240mm rad internally. and it cant be a thick one or it might block your ram slots.

800d on the other hand, can take a 360mm on the right out of the box. and with some modification, you can find a place to add in a 240mm somewhere in the lower deck.

if you are going watercooling, go with 800d all the way. and if you dont want the window for eye candy, 700d is a good choice too. it's cheaper and has a better harddrive cage layout.
