I have a Motorola Cliq that I am updating from 1.6 to 2.1. Will saving the contacts to the Sim card be OK, or should I back them up to the SD card. I cant loose these contacts or my wife will, well, you dont want to know. Any help will be much appreciated.

I'd say just to be safe, backup to SD CARD. Another option is I believe T-mobile(that is the carrier u have right?) has some "mobile backup" program that saves your contacts for you. Look it up on your phone see if u can get it.

Thanks, I did just that. But it turns out that after numerous resets, installing 2.1, and even replacing the sim card, the phone still drops web service and wont connect so T-mobile is sending a replacement phone. Now my major grip is I still cant use flashplayer 10.1. This phone has been a total turn off.
