Looking for new mouse/mousepad

Thread Starter
So it's about time for a new mouse. I've been using the same mouse for years and I need an upgrade.

I'm not really sure what grip I use, I think I tend to use more of a claw while gaming, and some palm while just browsing the web etc.

I've got a mouse budget of around $60, and maybe around $20 for the mousepad, one requirement is that the mousepad cannot be cloth, I need something sturdy.

What are some good suggestions? +Rep for help

That G500 looks nice, but is there a hard mousepad recommendation? I cannot use a cloth pad.

Steelseries 4HD/9HD for hard plastic mouse pads. There's also Func 1030 mouse pads. The Steelseries Xai is on sale at Best Buy for $44.99 right now. It uses the same sensor as the Logitech G500.
