Exciting information about the new keyboards from XArmor. - Page 4

Yeah I wouldn't care too much, except that I want this keyboard to last a long time. Now I'm worried about the coating rubbing off, since it seems pretty substandard.

That PS/2 connection thing not working happens a lot. Das, Steelseries 6GV2, etc. Links here.

I suspect it's the power draw and inferior implementation of modern PS/2 capable motherboards.

No biggie. 6KRO USB rollover is fine for 99% of gamers.

Details here including a video of the process. (Video set to Beethoven's 6th, 3rd movement because ART appreciation is important for today's youth).

Very informative link, thanks.

You know mine only worked with USB when I first tried it. I thought it might have been my mobo acting up because it worked fine after a couple restarts and hasn't acted up since.

The material isn't wearing off, that's my friend chicken grease.

Sadly I have a large spot like that, and it is definitely not chicken grease.

it almost looks like whoever was making my keyboard was eating fried chicken while holding the keys

How long did all of you have your keyboards? i had mine for about 3 months and so far ony problems i had or came with was the usb hub not working the way it should be. But i also have little key wear like what other keyboards get from oil from the fingers but this keyboard is holding up really well so far from that its just little shiny as you can see from the pics. I don't think the keys will turn clear and rub off.

Heres some pics of mine and the black widow ut together, I also got couple pics of the keycaps which are little different but i say this the black widow keycaps are better made.. They both have different leds too the xarmor is brighter than the black widow because razer seems too have some kind of coating on the leds too dim them a little but looks fine like that, But mine doesn't have no problems with the lettering off centered probably because mine is batch #24 and every key feels easy too push down, Which the black widow you have too put little bit more force too push down every key probably because the key caps are more solid made.

Also don't mind some of the blurriness camera was low on battery's and wasn't acting right, Oh and don't mind all the spots on the xarmor.. I had it on the floor sitting its a bit dirty because its been sitting and usely i wipe it down after im done with it but mustve not got everything..

But ya i would rma it Khaotik55 But i wouldn't give up on xarmor because it is a good board, I Love both boards which why i have them both but the black widow is my main board right now for some reasons like the perfect usb port and i like how the keys feel.

Its funny how alot people said i was nuts that i have the xarmor and i had the black widow ut on preorder because they both are the same except the bw had macros, But i have both of them and they both are different and not the same.

dscf1324.jpg

As you can see right here in this pic they did a more sloppy job on the xarmor..

dscf1311f.jpg

For the key pics xarmor is on the left and bw is on the right.

Also sorry for the big pics.. i forgot too resize them..frown.gif But redid them just now.

Now that i look at my black widow it seems like the keys are little off center on that.. lol But ain't bad at all or they just made it like that for looks.
