Exciting information about the new keyboards from XArmor. - Page 9

Has anyone else here had connectivity issues with their U9BL? Mine has been working perfectly well up until this last week; I had to unplug the keyboard to do some maintenance to the inside of my PC and remove it from the desk, but lately plugging it back in it takes about 5-7 tries of me unplugging and replugging it back in before the keyboard gets power and can communicate with the PC. I've even tried the PS/2 to USB adapter and it does nothing to solve the strange issue that I've been having.

Looks like I might just have to RMA this board, which is a shame because other than the connectivity issue and uneven LED backlighting it's been a wonderful keyboard.

Update: got an email from Xarmor support that they will either allow me to return the board (less a 15% restocking fee) or get a replacement

i was going to check out the blackwidow, but I dont know, I just really like the xarmor, it is rubberized, and has a wrist rest

so thumbs up to xarmor support for replacing the board

Nice, good to hear!

Any idea if the replacement they're going to send out is going to be the updated version of the U9BL? I'll probably be requesting an RMA on mine as well tomorrow as soon as I can get my computer up and running.

How about the post title, "Xarmor has DYNAMITE RMAs!".

well I received my RMA today, and I have keyboard #618 (my old one was around the 100's) so I was happy to see that they just didn't resend me my old board back and the just sent me a new one. the RMA process took a little bit more than a week. so far though the only complaint I have with this one is that the "W" key has like a specked clear part around the "w" on the key and a little on the side, but other than that its been great so far.

Xarmor just got back to me and told me that the "new" version of the U9BL wont be available for another month..OP dont you have a "new and improved" version from xarmor???

I dont get it..so they basically said either well send you a replacement board or just return the one you have and buy the new one when it comes out...

not sure i should just get a blackwidow ultimate? What would you guys do in my situation?

They said return both, we will give you a refund, we will provide you with a discount on the new boards that will be coming out next month.

Essentially.

Anyways, I think I want to try out Browns. I have no problem with Blues, but I want to expand my adventure. The quest is calling.

Ok, geek mode aside, I will wait for reviews of their new products, if they have similar issues I will be picking up a regular ole' Leopold from www.elitekeyboards.com

A little off topic, but does anyone know if EKB will be stocking tenkeyless versions? I kind of have a craving for some tenkeyless from Leopold if XArmor doesn't step their game up.

Reason I say that is because I still rather have back lights, but it's just not worth the quality difference unless they can fix their issues, and If I'm going to settle with a regular keyboard, I want a tenkeyless.
