you could try speedfan, but i personally dont use it, and i honestly think itll put a lot of wear on your fans, causing you to replace them a lot most likely.

if i lift my back end of the laptop up a little bit and move it from the wall, my temps drop a lot, maybe consider getting a little cooling pad for like 10 - 15 bucks

np man, was my pleasure to test how hot i can get my laptop xD

i still have to figure out how to keep this thing at 2.93 ghz at all times later on down the road as it will be my secondary gaming rig for friends that wanna lan-party at my house and don't wanna bring their pc's over.

if you want to, make a little write up about your temperature drops and experience with whatever pad you go with, might come in handy for other people in the same position you know.

Those temps are much better than what I get with my dell studio and the i7. Idle is in the low 60's and will get into the 90's at load. I don't think dell has a very good cooling set-up for these.

Don't worry, that seems ok for a laptop. My old mobile C2D used to go up to 80-85 while playing TF2, and idled at 40-50.
