Thinking about upgarding my gpu's. I currently run 2 gtx275 in sli (evga part # 896-p3-1170-ar).
Which single gpu is currently on par with my sli setup?

I'd say around the GTX460 is equal to the 275 solo, so does Tom's Hardware., which means if you only want one card, you're looking at a 570 or 580.

Well, your setup is about the same as a Radeon HD 5870, give or take a little. HD 5950, 5970, GTX 570 and 580 is faster than your setup.

I came from GTX 260 SLI. One Core 216 and one Core 192. They where overclocked to 702/1404/2300. About the speed of a GTX 295 or a HD5870.

I upgraded to one GTX 570 a while ago. It's somewhat faster, especially when you increase AA and details. Also more silent and produce less heat. And DX11. A worthy upgrade if I may say so.

A GTX 570 would be a good upgrade with slightly better performance.

EDIT: and DX11 and less heat and lesser power consumption.

Wow, that is good news. Thought a single 460 would beat the crap out of the two 275's. However, my gtx275 are not the better ones of the different versions. There is a FTW version and another one that has twice the memory of mine. I tjink mine is the lowest of the gtx275. Does that change anything?

I'm not really sure which version you're talking about, but even if it was the lowest of the GTX 275's...things wouldn't be much different.
