G510 thoughts (Vs. G15)

Thread Starter
So yesterday I bought a G510 to replace my G15... and I really don't know what I was thinking at the time but I found it a step backwards for me..

The keys on the G510 feel much better than the G15 personally, probably because it's brand new compared to my G15 I've had for a few months now

The Enter key in particular on the G510 had a real nice feel / click sound to it that I liked and they keys were quieter in general...but...

I miss the USB ports on the keyboard for my usb headset, I hate haveing to reach behind my PC to find an open usb port everytime I want to plug in my headset.. there's tons of G keys on the G510 .. too many for me and the 6 G key's on the G15 are fine for me.. I don't know what I was thinking when I bought the G510, sort of a impulse buy I guess.. haha, I'll be returning it as my G15 doesn't deserve to be replaced already with nothing wrong with it at all...

Has this ever happened to any of you? You just see something that looks really nice and buy it... and then realize you don't need it?

No, not really. You DO need a external powered USB hub, however.

One day while I was buying in the impulse a brand new G510 fell through the roof. It immediately jumped on the chair and knocked over the USB ports. Then it ran out the door into the kitchen and bought a usb headset off the G15. It then knocked a glass of keys off the coffee table. After tons of minutes of chasing the G510 through the house I finally caught it and put it outside. It quickly climbed the nearest desk.

(I fed your story into this and found it more interesting.)
