Yes a Silver Arrow will fit in a CM Storm Scout

Thread Starter
I'm about to find out if it will fit, as my Silver Arrow arrived yesterday. If you guys had to bet, do you think that a ThermalRight Silver Arrow will fit in a Cooler Master Storm Scout case?
I know that it will fit my Asus Rampage III Formula and clear my Nanya Ram sticks with no problem. On the Cooler Master site it says the maximum heatsink height for the Storm Scout is 165mm, but just glancing at my Hyper 212 Plus through the side panel, I believe there's a lot more clearance than that. The Hyper 212 Plus is about 160mm tall and I have over a centimeter to spare.
My crude measurements have the Silver Arrow between 165mm t 167mm in height.
I was also considering mounting the Silver Arrow horizontally, any thoughts?

Update: Installed it today with no major issues. The Silver Arrow will fit the Scout with no mods needed. It is a PITA.

Yes it will fit. You can put the case on it side and dry fit the SA fully clamped without paste if you want to put you mind at ease.
