Find me a headset!

Thread Starter
My headset just recently died on me.. and I don't know how to fix it. Probably looking for a nice headset preferably 5.1. NON LEATHER. nice bass and etc. trying to spend around 60. maybe more if it's worth it.

also with a mic. or maybe another way you guys like. with the stand mic on the desk.

you're better off with a soundcard like the Xonar DG and stereo headphones like the JVC RX700

JVC RX700 - $47 shipped

Xonar DG $20 after rebate:

Hmm.. My friend said I don't really need a soundcard. since my mobo supports 7.1 already and he told me to go with senheisser or whatever, not sure though.

having a soundcard is nothing to do with the amount of connections, it's more how well and accurate it processes a signal. btw, your friend knows nothing.
