my G.skill 1333 wont go to 1600 :( - Page 2

I suggest getting some 1600 ram so you can run those speeds.I have not had much luck running muck over stock clocks on ram.Especially 1333 to 1600.

Try this. Set your ram at 1600 and DDR voltage to 1.65v. If it does work you need to do 1 of 2 things.
1) Just run @ 1333.
2) Buy some DDR3 1600.

It could also be because a lot of RAM companies do weird things, like my ram for instance, is made stock at 1066, but they wanted to make a quick buck so they send them out clocked at 1333 or 1600. Pretty sleezy.

Would make it more apparent whether his memory controller can take it or not, though I'm not exactly familiar with AMD's take on this.

It didn't work, Ill just run at 1333 for awhile until I get really sick of it.

Thanks for trying to help, and not insulting my inexperience.

Whether C2 or C3 revision 1600Mhz 9-9-9 is an easy feat. Lower/higher timings don't really evermake a difference in memory controller stability, but speed often does, which is why I often recommend lower speed/lower timings over higher speed/(higher) timings.
