Anything higher will likely require a v bump, though.

Also, those are some loose memory timings, but I guess you're already over spec for those sticks..
You would be too if you too had C3 that came 1.4V out of the box. lol
This is the best I can do with this CPU. Either it's flaky, or need better PSU.

If you have a c3 revision you should be able to unlock that to a quad and easily push that thing to 4.0Ghz with a 1.4V. With your motherboard, there should be an option in the bios for ACC, which should be set to auto. If this is not an option, which was the case on my old mobo, a older bios version should have support for ACC (advanced clock calibration) which will turn that x2 into a x3 or maybe even a full x4. AMD disabled 2 cores on alot of those chips just to keep up with the x2 demand or all cores might not have been stable at testing. Mine is unlocked to a x4 and runs at 4.2ghz all day never going above 50c.

I wouldn't do that on a stock cooler. He will need a better HSF for that.

Sorry, didn't see he was using a stock cooler. He can still try to unlock it to a quad and just leave the CPU at default frequencies. Only bad thing is once it is unlocked you can not monitor the temps from inside the OS, you must monitor via BIOS. Small set back for a free 2 core/ 2 threads if capable, not all are successful.
