Switching cases (Technical difficulty/URGENT!) - Page 3

Could be caused by memory/CPU not being seated properly. Try it outside the case first, though.
Is it plugged in? serious question
Is the CPU heatsink plugged into the CPU Fan header?

looking at your manual there should be one right next to the floppy drive connector.

I put my motherboard on a box and plugged in just the power supply and no light came on. I tried the switch both ways. I don't see why my motherboard would have died.

It's possible you put a standoff in the wrong spot in your new tower and fried it. I seen this all the time with the Thermaltake Xaser IV.

Edit:By fried it I mean your motherboard.

Really? Something that simple. Now I'm pissed. I didn't even know that was a possibility. Is there no way to fix it?

I honestly don't know if there is a way to fix it, it's beyond my area of expertise.

If no lights are coming on when you plug all the power cables in to their correct spots, then yeah, it sounds like you fried it.

Double, and triple check all the connections.

Do you have another motherboard you can test?
