Hey guys, ive orded the 355 pump with the top, just was trying my 655 pump out on 1 gpu until the 355 gets here, and notice both rads get hot at the top of the tank were the inlet and out let are.Is this because the 655 pump cant push enough thew my loop. The loop atm is res-pump-1 gpu-rad(480)-cpu-mobo-rad(360)-res(this is when gaming)

No, they're getting hot because your radiator is doing it's job and radiating heat. What fans do you have on the radiator?

the 655 is more than enough to push through that loop. WC pumps are powerful. Rads get hot bc they dissipate heat. I wouldn't dare touch the first rad in my loop. I know better. Ur loop is rather simple and not very restrictive, even the pump that comes with the rasa kit could deal with it perfectly fine. A single 355 with xspc pumptop powers my loop with great flowrate and that's with 7 blocks, 2 reses, and 5 rads. Rads get hot. Don't worry about it

I've just changed my loop so the water comes in thew the cpu out let and notice temps have dropped by 10c at idle, and dont go up as much under load.I notice my cpu water block has a restricted intake ,its the apogee XT.So with the bigger loop and the restricted intake my pump must be struggling now?So with the water going in thew the outlet now temps have dropped by 10c and top of tanks are no longer hot.

Should've gone with a Heatkiller wb. 2 x 355 with aftermarket tops is always good for performance and redundancy.
