Water Cooling for A71F

Thread Starter
I just finished myself a job for the first week of winter break and I was thinking about water cooling. I only have 150USD to spend (Very little. I know. x.x) and it's going inside my A71F. I really don't know what to get and what is good because this is my first go into water cooling if money allows. So if you guys can help me with that, I will greatly appreciate it.

Edit: I won't be able to pull off water cooling as of now. I'll just wait for the next time I can grab more money. Thanks for those who have helped anyway!

Alright. Thanks man. I'll look into that, but If I want to internally mount it, is it actually possible for me to put it in the front intake of the case? Or would I have to mount it externally?

You won't be able to mount it in the front of the case since those are 140mm fans. If you want to mount it in the top of the case you will want to cut some holes for the fans. I cut the top of my case to mount a 360 rad and it was pretty easy. Otherwise you will need a swiftech rad box and mount it on the back of the case.

either, I google/image your case and saw some water cooling builds that have them internally. how about the top if possible, it seems like you can fit a couple of 120mm fans on top, could be a perfect match for the RS240 rad.

140 to 120mm adapters.

sorry to double post.

I dont think 140 to 120 adapters will work for mounting a rad since the space between the 2 fans will have a gap and not be able to mount to the rad

So adapters won't work? I'd really hate to externally mount my Rad, but if I have to I will do it.

you don't necessarily have to attach the fans to the rad, as long as they are close and the air from those 140 are directed to the rad. and then use the supplied fans as pull.

So it's basically a shroud effect but without the shroud right? And if I were to do it internally, I would have to place in the area but they're 140mm fans. I need to work around that.

If money allows it, would you think it'd be possible to stick a dual 140 in the front?
