Need help with sluggish performance!

Thread Starter
The sig rig OC is stable for more than 6 hours prime and it passed memtest.. But I've noticed that for example when I put my password in, it says "Welcome" for about 10+ seconds, then boots the desktop. Then for a short period afterwards the cursor is prone to freezing in one place.
Also I've noticed that such as when closing tabs in Firefox it can be sluggish.. I know it's only petty things but it is a bit annoying!

Merry christmas to all!!

@OP: All the scenarios you mentioned make heavy use of the HDD, not the CPU/memory.

Like all the others have been saying, the stutter/lagg you get is coming from a faulty hard disk drive. Or a slow one. WD Raptor incoming!!

Also, I can get a F60 for the same price, surely would be a better buy with the better write speed?

Edit: It's actually a bit cheaper!
