So Bulldozer, Who is getting it? - Page 4

If I had a dual core or something that needs upgrading I might be looking at these.
It's going to be quite some time before games use 6-8 cores, but I will say that 4 is the quickly becoming the new minimum.

Eh, If I could run it on my current board, I would seriously think about it. I will let them work the SNAFUs out of it, and see how board development goes before doing another serious overhaul. For now, my little 940be can still hold its ground. More interested with GPU development and possibly a 1090. Maybe when W8 comes out and all the pieces of the puzzle are there.

Unless the performance is absolutely dismal my next system will be AMD.

I'll be upgrading, just not one giant leap. I'll probably get a new Mobo and throw my 1090T on it, then grab the new CPU after they've been about 4-5 months. I've never been an early adopter for processors.

He's trolling and doesnt seem to remember the pre-C2D years of Intel.

Looks like Intel has a definitive edge over AMD. I'll avoid AMD until the actually put out a better product than intel.
