Anthlon II x2 OC and safe?

hi noob here
so im the type that is shoot 1st then ask questions later, after building my..."random black friday sale" PC i found that i can do stuff with it...and i did...the spec is Anthlon IIx2 3.750@140v (NB-250@122v, Freq.@2500Mhz HT link @2500, CPU PLL@250v) this is on a MOBO that does not have Mosfet cooling and stock cpu and heatsink fan, i used CPUIDHW to get the temp, after checking through the forum seems like decent # and without benchmarking seems like it is stable (i use battlefield BC2 to test the system on medium setting at 1240x720) boot ok and run smooth...so the question
is it really ok...does any # seems out of place...if any vet can give me some other (better) spec that i can try please i'm all ears,
overall i'm ok with the system with the way it is, i didn't think i can do this with a system that is less then $300(after rebates), but i dont have money to build another until next blackfriday so i have save these settings in one of the slot in my bios and currently running on Optimized defaults to keep my hardware from burning out, atleast until i get some solid answers,
please i have done the research (that's how i got this far) but i lack experience and detail information to go any further please help (I AM BEGGING) thanx a bunch

Looks good-you can safely go up to 1.55v cpu core usually, with good cooling. 3.75Ghz is the normal range for Athlon II's.

Ok. Here the breakdown on that you need to know for ocing any athlon II and phenom II cpu on air.
1) Max cpu voltage is 1.55v.
2) Keep temp under 55c.
3) NB frequency take it as high as you can take it and stable.
4) CPU/NB voltage max 1.45v. This the voltage for NB Frequency.
5) Keep HT around 2000.

thanx for the replies y'all
just looked at ur CP Redwoodz, i am not going to raise my Vcore to 156..., i'll settle for 3.6 for now (250x14.5), i'm want to leave the volts at stock/minimum..., not until i learn more about stress test and find out what kind of benefits i can gain from pushing further.

looks like you have a fan Redwoodz...i just got a xfx HD5670 for $70 bucks, and will be asking you a few questions regarding that once its in my system...
